                     The theme for the 2004-05 school year was Shades of Latin Jazz. The show was dedicated to the memory of Ginni Creasey.

October 15 Football game at Staunton River against Jefferson Forest. Band will perform.
October 16 JMU Parade of Champions in Harrisonburg, VA Excellent rating, 3rd place in class (AA) out of 7 bands! In 2003, Staunton River placed 5th out of 12 bands in AA! To see pictures of the performance

October 23 Colonial Classic in Altavista - a.m.
Blue Ridge Festival of Bands in Brookville - p.m.
 Altavista results:
Superior rating, 1st place drum major, 2nd place music, 3rd place in class (AA)
Brookville Results:
Superior rating, 2nd place drum major, 2nd place music, 2nd place general effect, 3rd place in class (AAA)
October 29 Football game at Staunton River against Brookville.
Band will perform.		 Senior Night.
October 30 James River Invitational in Botetourt County, VA Superior rating of 95.9, 1st place drum major, 1st place percussion, 2nd place color guard, 1st place marching, 1st place general effect, 1st place music, 1st place in class (AAAA) and band of the day in AAA and AAAA!!
